Georg Zimmermann
Dr Georg Zimmermann heads the Biostatistics and Big Medical Data team at Paracelsus Medical University Salzburg. He can look back on several years of research work on various methodological and biostatistical topics (e.g. small case numbers, evidence-based medicine). He has also gained extensive experience in collaborating with clinicians and specialists from the life sciences (e.g. neuroscience, dermatology) in the context of interdisciplinary, application-orientated, national and international projects. Dr Zimmermann's main task in the IDA Lab is to promote and intensify methodologically oriented cooperation with the Paracelsus Medical University Salzburg and the University Hospital Salzburg, to promote cross-institutional projects in Salzburg (especially with the PLUS) and to establish joint projects at an international level.
